If desired, the ELD product can be purchased and configured for vehicle inspection (DVIR) only. In this configuration no Hours of Service can be logged.
When using DVIR Only some settings will need to be adjusted when creating a Driver. Specifically the DVIR Access drop down. This must be changed from DVIR to DVIR Only.
A separate app must be used for DVIR Only. Instead of downloading Apollo ELD, Apollo DVIR should be chosen instead.
Driver credentials set to DVIR Only can only access Apollo DVIR with their credentials. The credentials will not work on Apollo ELD.
Apollo DVIR is a free download, available for Android and iOS. Please be aware that Apollo ELD and Apollo DVIR cannot be installed on the same device simultaneously. To install one, the other must be removed.
